Honestly It was too hot for words. The sun's overwhelmingly hot rays beat down on what appeared to be a small pink cat. Of course it wasn't a cat ,but the legendary Pokemon mew. The little Pokemon glanced around the small island that had become famously known for the appearance of the legendary Pokemon,Lugia, and let a small sigh escape from her tiny little body.
When Arceus had told her to go to the island and check up on everything there, She hadn't expected this much heat. With all the fur on her body, lightweight as it may be, it was still fur and it made it excruciatingly hot. Mew smiled a quick smile as she realized her ability to to transform into a human and took advantage of her otherwise unique ability. With a couple of uncomfortable shifts, Mew had transformed in to a small teenage girl, roughly around 15, complete with a bikini!
She knew that there was supposedly a inlet to ocean around here that was secluded and perfect for a small legendary like herself. She smiled to herself as she brushed through the thicket, finally arriving at her destinated spot. The water as a gorgeous shimmering blue and Mew, for one, couldn't wait to jump and let the cool water wash over her tired little body.

He knew it was against the rules. He knew that he should remain in the abyss and not light the fire to human interest. Lugia, of course, was a legendary. He would probably excite any human to stalk him to the ends of the earth. Just look at Suicune for example, but there was one place he could escape to that most humans dared not venture, the abyss.
It was dark and lifeless there most of the time and that is why Lugia felt the need to arise to the surface from time to time. This time with his handy-dandy psychic powers he had sensed a powerful psychic aura up on the surface and he had decided to go greet it.
He continued ascending gliding gracefully through the water until he finally surfaced with a splash. It was just like Lugia to make is presence known in a very extravagant fashion. He spread out his wings as he looked down to see who was there. What looked like a smirk appeared on his face.
"Mew, that is you right," said Lugia as he landed on the ground and poked the humanoid figure with his snout.
Of course, he was pretty sure it was, but he had to brush away all doubts before he could turn into his human form. For if any human would see him transform from his true form to his human form it would cause quite the ruckus up in the Hall of Origin. He knew very well that Arceus would probably ask him to kill the human as 'humanely' as possible.
They could have always asked Mewtwo to erase his memories...but half the Hall of Origin considered him an outcast.

Entei huffed to himself as he wandered about one of the large islands; hoping this was the one those odd yet familiar scents had come from. His paws, and a good portion of his fur were now dripping wet- the result of running along the waves. There were those who thought only Suicune capable of such a thought, and while the northern winds certainly was more connected to the region's water than either he or Raikou, it didn't mean they couldn't perform some of the same tasks. Luckily, Ho-oh had created them with immense speed- enough to run on top of the water for short distances, if they so wished.
The only problem was, the volcano pokemon didn't like it very much. It wasn't that he hated water entirely, he just didn't like being surrounded by it. Or covered in that uncomfortable, sticky feeling fur always got once it was wet. The only saving grace was the harsh sunlight. While it bothered those like mew, Entei was used to- and really thrived- on heat. The heat was a welcome relief from the salty, smelly ocean water, and it made him feel just a little better to know that his fur would be dry that much sooner. Certainly, he could dry it himself with his fire-based abilities, but why draw unnecessary attention? He was checking up on things here carefully, after all- trying to keep himself hidden until he found the source of the scents that had wafted on the ocean breeze.
Only a few moments ago, Entei had been wandering in the wild just outside a human settlement. He had simply been walking about- as usual, when the wind had drifted in off the ocean. Entei had caught interesting scents on it, and had been compelled to look into things. The scents were....of pokemon, it seemed, but not normal. There was a certain familiarity, a kind of ancient, if not uniquely 'gifted' twinge to it. It had reminded Entei of his brethren; Raikou and Suicune- only..it wasn't them. He had been curious to see who else it was.
Though he wandered aimlessly, Entei knew there were others like him- and his creator, Ho-oh- in the vast world. He had heard of some others, sensed their powers at work in the world from time to time. But, he had never actually seen them. He had only seen Ho-oh once, though. The roaming beasts of Johto were not the type to hold conference with the others- and it was hard to, with them always somewhere else.
But Entei didn't see the harm in investigating. Either way, he had planned on roaming this area. Maybe not so close to the water, but it was only a minor setback for the likes of him.
Slowly, he padded his way around the island- footsteps muffled in sand. Not that such measures to hide himself would work well against other legendaries. It was just habitual, really. Too much time spent hiding from humans had ingrained these needs deeply into his subconscious.

Mew got into the water letting the cool and refreshing water caress her humanoid skin. She let a pleasurable little "mew" escape her smiling face. However, it wasn't too long before she felt a large presence in the water not to far from her. At first Mew thought it might be Kyogre what with Kyogre always trying to pass Lugia up, but soon she recognized the large pokemon's aura to be Lugia's
With her little face all a glow, she smiled as the rather large legendary appeared out of the water. Her smile grew larger as the giant dragon/ bird pokemon landed in front of her and questioned who she was.
"Hee hee! Of course it's me!" Mew giggled as the legendary nudged her. She patted lugia on the bridge of his beak and then hugged him around his neck.
"Lugia! I've missed you! How have you been? Have you been well? How are Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres?" Mew asked entusiastically. It had beeen too long since she had last seen any of her friends and she desperatley needed a break from all of the excitment that had been occuring lately. Celebi had had a close encounter with an agressive trainer and was almost caught! Fortunatley Celebi had gone back in time to avoid capture.
Mew sniffed the air, even in human for she was quite capable of picking up scents, and caught the scent of what appeared to be a pokemon. This excited the little pokemon even more and she let her tail slip out of her bikini and let it wag behind her.
"Do you smell that Lugia? It smells like one of the Johto beasts!" Mew said as she danced around in glee, "that means more people to play with!"

Lugia nodded gently as he watched Mew speak on and on about how he was doing these days. She was just one of those legendaries that he could easily get along with. Unlike Kyogre, for example, the two being bitter rivals. His tail swished as he began to answer her questions.
"Moltres is doing very well. He's always the first to come for me to help as always," he chuckled as an imagine of a disgruntled Moltres flying towards him at a fast pace appeared in his mind. "Zapdos still has a really short temper....and Articuno...well...hm...Let's just say that she should be careful who she picks to fall in love with."
Lugia lifted his head slowly as his mind felt the presence of what indeed seemed like one of the Johto beasts. He folded his wings behind himself and knew that the creature had sensed them and was heading in their direction.
"Yes, Indeed, I do believe that whoever it is, is headed in our direction," said Lugia calmly.
He contemplated whether he should revert himself to human form, but he decided to wait to answer that question. It was truly a relief to get a break from work now and then. Lugia wanted to enjoy the beauty of the ocean he protected from time to time.

The closer Entei got, the more aware he was of voices. Ones that he was coming up on quickly, no less. It never really struck him as rude that he was sneaking toward them and listening in on their conversation. After all, he'd never really encountered other legendaries that he didn't share some form of bond with- and given how often he roamed, he usually was observing somebody whenever he took the time to stop.
Finally, the two he had sensed from the shore came into view, as he leapt up and over a small, rocky outlet. He stopped completely as Mew's humanoid form came into view, feeling his muscles tense up in case she presented any harm to him. His fierce eyes narrowed, regarding the pink-haired young woman carefully, and with more than just a little bit of uncertainty. The other creature was intimidating enough, what with how big he was, but he was still a pokemon. It was humans that bothered him the most, with how they acted- how violent and unpredictable they could be. He knew he had to be careful.
And yet...She didn't smell like any human he'd ever come across- and he had had been all over Johto; more than enough times than it took to gather a sense of what humans generally smelled like. Though she looked like a human, she smelled like a pokemon- and one that, like he and the larger creature, had the same sense of power those he did know posessed.
Confused, Entei remained on top of the rock staring at them, not sure whether it was safe to approach yet or not.
"..Who are you?" He finally asked, in a low and rumbling voice.

Mew shivered with excitment as she felt the the pokemon draw closer. She always enjoyed and relished every opportunity to make a new friend. However, as the presence got closer, Mew sensed that the pokemon was very cautious indeed. She knew that the pokemon had to be one like Lugia and She.
She continued talking with Lugia about triffle and rather meanigless things until she felt the pressure of the rather large and powerful presence right next to Lugia and herself. She turned to face the pokemon and smiled sweetly as he seemed to observe her. At first the Large pokemon scared Mew, but after a little while She saw that the pokemon was just cautious about humans.
"Hi! I'm Mew the new species pokemon!" Mew said as she let her tail wag.
She realized that the tail probably through the large and somewhat gruff Legendary for a loop. She smiled and transformed back into her true form.
"See! I'm a pokemon just like you!" Mew said telepathically.
With that said she drifted over towards the pokemon and sniffed at him, finally recognizing his scent.
"Your Entei! Right? I've always wanted to meet you! I mean I'm in the Johto region someitmes, but I'm very busy these days and I've seen you guys a couple of times, but I don't believe I've ever stopped in to say Hello!"

Lugia turned his head over to the dog-like creature that had shown up before him. He sensed his discomfort at seeing the two of them and he would not blame him. Lugia took this chance to imprint on him a good first impression.
Having a better reputation than Kyogre had nothing to do with this at all....Of course not! Haha.
He soon realized that he had been in close relation to Suicune. Lugia guessed that he was the one that she referred to as 'brother'. Lugia glided over to him and gave what looked like a smile.
"As you can tell Mew is excited," he said. "I am Lugia, Lord Arceus placed me as Guardian of the Ocean. I do not know if you have heard of me before."
His tail swished as he continued, "Oh, and I believe you know who Suicune is correct? I have had some very pleasant conversations with her. Hmm...yes."
Lugia hoped that he was not annoyed or uncomfortable at the friendliness of the two. Hah! But who could blame them. Lugia was naturally a sociable creature by nature. He had wondered why Arceus had cursed him to forever spend his life in the dark abyss.
But, that was not a problem to anger himself about right now.

Entei was rather confounded indeed, with what the pink-haired human was saying. Her words, however kind at first, did not ease his uncertainty. That she claimed she was a pokemon, and then showed him a tail- just made his fur stand on end. The volcano pokemon was not sure how to feel about such a combination, and when Mew decided to show her true form, he was only slightly put at ease.
..Why would a pokemon take the guise of a human for their own enjoyment? Entei could not understand it, and told himself that he would never assume such a form..unless absolutely necessary. If commanded, or to escape their attention, then fine. But for fun and games? Never. He almost felt as if he should scold the tiny, pink creature for such a thing- but he wouldn't. Entei would not prove himself a rude creature, when it was he who had sought them ought in the first place.
When she, Mew, spoke of him, he managed a small smile.
"I am." Entei confirmed, bowing his head a little in greeting. "And it is nice to finally meet you, Mew."
Particularly now that she was showing her true form. Entei leapt off the rock he was on, approaching them with a bit more confidence, now that they had proven friendly. While he waited for mew to answer, he turned his gaze to her larger companion-Lugia, as he was called. He had heard of this creature before, from Suicune. His own creator had never thought it important to mention his oceanic counterpart, but of course their first meeting had been the only one.
At the mention of the northern winds, Entei nodded again- and started to feel even more at ease. If Suicune knew Lugia, then he couldn't be all bad.
"Yes, the northern winds and I are family."
Siblings, really. As was Raikou, the original thunder.
"I am sorry to intrude on your conversation, but I could not help but pick out your scent from afar. I thought it best to investigate." He looked around, ensuring yet again no humans were in the immediate area.
"If you do not mind me asking, just what is going on here?"
He thought he might as well ask, since he was here anyway.

Mew smiled and did a little aerial flip.
"hee hee we are just having fun! All Pokemon need fun! I missed Lugia and I thought I might see what he was up to! However, now that your here WE CAN ALL HAVE FUN! It certainly is a pleasure to meet the great volcano pokemon! I enjoy meeting new friends. After all having to deal with that drab Mewtwo makes me bored!" Mew said enthusiastically.
She glanced at Entei and listened as he mentioned Raikou and Suicune, both of which she had met before. She found it odd thought that she never once had met the powerful legendary that stood before her.
"So Entei, Obviously you don't like water, but do want to play some beach volleyball with us? Later on we are going to go to the town and check out the foods they have there! Celebi is going to visit a friend that owns the pizza parlor there! You don't need to worry though! It's only for pokemon and it's surrounded by a phychic barrier! A nice Lucario and sneasel own the resteraunt. I'd never had human food before until Celebi took me to one of the food resteraunts in Olivine city!" Mew babbled. She could tell that the large legendary didn't like people, but Mew couldn't see why! I mean I guess what with all the pokemon hunters nowadays. However, she hoped that Entei would consider joining the odd company.

"I think you are overwhelming him," chuckled Lugia.
Lugia smiled as Mew went on with the story about an interesting place that was apparently only for Pokemon. He had not heard about it, but he probably did not get much information from where he lived anyway. It probably was not suitable for Pokemon his size so he did not know how he was going to enjoy the place.
Atleast unlike most other somber, sullen legendaries...I know how to have fun, hmmmm. So not..cough...cough...Ho-oh.
He was not about to declare that thought out loud for Entei to hear. Lugia knew that he probably had an attachment to Ho-oh and he was not going to insult her (or him) publicly. That is why he was happy that he was not a psychic with the ability to wade into his thoughts.
"But yes...It would be quite enjoyable to have you accompany us," said Lugia nodding. "I would say that the more the merrier."
Well atleast in most cases....

I think you are overwhelming him
That was certainly the understatement of the year. Entei hadn't quite been able to keep up with Mew's initial train of thought, mostly due to the excited and rushed manner in which she had delivered it. The volcano pokemon's eyes had widened, at her frenzied enthusiasm, and he had only managed a cough before Lugia provided him a moment to catch up.
"Ah, I see," He finally rumbled, deciding it was best to respond. He didn't want to seem too rude. Even so, he was not used to such excitement- his siblings tended to have few words, but then of course they rarely stayed in place long enough to have conversations of any real substance with one another. Perhaps that was why this was all so foreign to him. The volcano pokemon was used to constantly being on the move. Still....what could it hurt to hear them out? Entei had his curiosities, and he had always wondered what it would be like to meet other pokemon like himself.
Mew started on another tangent again, and this time, he was a little more prepared for the pace. He followed it better, though tilted his head from curiosity. He wasn't entirely sure what 'beach volleyball' was. Beach, he understood. Volleyball? not so much.
"What exactly is volleyball?"
He couldn't give her any real answer until he knew what this thing was.
"And...perhaps."
He was hungry. If this place really were protected from humans, then it would be the best area to rest in. As much as he ran, he did need to stop for a break every now and then. Fatigue was starting to wear on him, a little. Entei regarded lugia for a moment, smiling slightly at the generous comment.
"Well then, how can I say no?"
The volcano pokemon's muscles relaxed more. He was starting to feel more at ease in their presence now. They were strange, personalities he wasn't yet accustomed to- but they were friendly, and meant him no harm. For that, he was starting to like them already.

Mew let out a little squeak of excitment as the Fire Dog agreed to join them.
"Oh we are going to have so much fun! After all If you work all the time you get stressed, and if you get stressed You DIE!" Mew said with enthusiasm as she proceeded to do a flip. She realized that she had not clearly explained what beach volleyball was and blushed slightly.
"Uhh...Well this volleyball is supposedly played by using ones apendages to knock the ball over the net. The object is for the ball to hit the ground on your opponent's side, but not on your own side. It sounds strange to me, but i've always wanted to try this! As for the food, it's something the humans call...Peeeete....zzzza?" Mew said eagerly. "Shall we Leave for the food first? It seems everyone is hungry!"
Mew's tail twitched slightly as she awaited Lugia's answer. Even though she had set up the idea of Pizza and volleyball, she thought that Lugia and Entei should ultimatley decide. After all it didn't entirely matter to her!
However, she was slightly worried about Entei and how he was reacting to all of this. She realized that he had probably had some encounters with people wanting to catch him and do bad things to him. She frowned slightly. She knew some people were bad, but she hoped Entei didn't think this way about All[/u] People.[/color]

Lugia craned his neck downwards in order to not look so tall compared to the others. He listened on about Mew's explanation about volleyball. He honestly thought that her explanation had probably confused the poor volcano pokemon even more. Lugia had, had a soft spot for fire pokemon deep inside.
Moltres had been very attatched to him after all.
"I must turn into a human then right?" inquired Lugia. "I honestly will not fit into most places in that little town. I do not want to attract to much attention either."
Lugia folded his wings as he awaited for whatever Mew's suggestion would be. He glanced over at Entei and wondered if Arceus had ever given him the blessed ability to turn into human. Sarcasm intended.
Well, this was a chance to escape that infernal abyss so Lugia was very willing to take it.
"Well I would have to turn into a human either way," he continued. "I really do not think that playing beach volleyball in this form will work out."
This was followed by what looked like a grin.
"I'm fine with either, Mew," said Lugia as he turned to Entei. "Would our friend here rather eat first?"
