(( I HAD URGE TO START THINGS. I'll be making 2 more threads in the rp section here ,lol. This is open to anybody and everybody who wants in! We're playing in lavender town. )) And it's Beige. ----
She had heard rumors of Lavendar town before. From family, friends of family, and just excited trainers from Kanto who compared this small village's tower to Ecruteak's own when passing through. But, not once had she ever actually seen the town, or even a single picture of the infamous tower that had drawn her out this way in the first place.
Kind of ironic, but the surprise was well-worth it, in Beige's opinion. The tower certainly didn't disappoint. It didn't hold up to Johto's own famous towers, but the young woman suspected that was mostly because Johto was her home. It was only natural to prefer your home region to one you were just visiting, wasn't it? But even so, Lavender town's tower was something else. A haunting, mysterious aura just poured off of it. In fact, Beige swore she could almost see a ghostly fog drifting out of windows way near the top.
"I wonder if that's really what it is?"
The young woman squinted, trying to zero in where she thought she saw the unearthly mist coming from. She regarded it silently for several minutes, before shaking her head. In all honestly, Beige couldn't tell if it was actually there, or just a trick of the mind. From everything she'd heard about the tower, either option was probable.
"Hmmm. it'd probably be a good place to train."
No kidding. All the ghost pokemon that supposedly drifted in there? All the tales made it seem like the perfect environment for her ghost pokemon, and with the type's weaknesses, the best spot for her dark types to get in some much-needed training without having to worry about being creamed. Having dark types also helped keep her safe from the wrath of some of the more volatile spirits, if there were aggressive ones around.
"..But am I just allowed to go in?"
Beige ran a hand through her medium-length, mousy brown hair. She really wasn't sure about it. The tower, she knew, was a big tourist attraction during the day, and also a place for people to pay their respects to the spirits of departed pokemon.
Yet, it was no longer the afternoon. It was nearly the middle of the night. It was kind of eerie, how quiet the small town was. Not a soul stirred, all the lights were off. The only thing she had was the moon, which luckily for most people, was full this evening. The tower stood like a sinister villain's citadel, gleaming in the moonlight and looming over the town. To add to the overall effect, the winds whipping around the nearby mountain sounded like the whispering of malicious spirits.
It definitely wasn't the environment to be caught in, if you were faint of heart. To Beige, this was common. The creepy atmosphere was something she had gotten used to; something that rarely, if ever, bothered her anymore. Her problem was more the lack of people, and signs that indicated whether or not night-time training visits were allowed. Beige was not the type who liked to break rules that could actually bother people or disrupt the harmony of the building.
..But night was the only time she cared to spend in a place like this, so..was it worth just going for it?
"Why is there never anybody around when you need them?"
She huffed to herself, folding her arms over her chest. Story of her life, really.
---- ((lol yeah sorry it's not a real easy thread for ppl to jump into, but...DO AS YOU PLEASE. I'm willing to take this baby in whatever direction. It'd be exciting to have a ton of diff chars show up.))

Only the faint thud of a her heart beat could be heard. Although Reena wasn't the type to get frightened easily, the creepy mist that had permeated trough the semi-large tower had begun to spook even the ex-Team Rocket memeber. The demonic aura made her rethink her idea about coming to pay respects for her dearly departed Misdreavus.
She let a sigh escape through her pale lips as she remembered the painful event that had happened not three days before. Her hands tightly curled into fists at her sides as she walked towards the tower. She had come at night to hide from people who may have recognized her as an associate of team Rocket. She rarely came to Kanto anymore. Too many painful memories echoed throughout the region of her former bad deeds.
Reena turned around suddenly as she heard footsteps from the lower portion of the tower. Shoot! Reena thought, I thought this place was supposed to be all but abadoned at night! Maybe...it's a ghost? Naw. That stupid. Ghost's aren't real. Ghost pokémon maybe, but not ghosts.
However, the footsteps below made her feel uneasy. Reena took one of her clenched fists, and gently grabbed for her pokéballs at her waist. It was now that she hadn't left Ari with Nurse Joy. Even if he was hurt he could've at least soothed her uneasiness. With a swift movement Reena called out her Pikachu.
"Hey Shockers, Do you mind walking with me since Ari is still in the pokemon center?" Reena asked in a pleading sort of manor. The tiny little pokemon nodded it's head and hoped on Reena's shoulder.

All other members, this thread is totally open. Just so you know, you guys can jump in WHENEVER you want. <3 )) ----
Dare she risk it? Should she really just waltz into the tower, without any knowledge of whether it was okay or not? Beige bit her lower lip as she muddled over those thoughts. Sure, she wasn't the type to usually go doing such things, but...How many more chances would she get? There was no guarantee she'd have the chance to be out this way again, after dark or otherwise. And, she'd heard ...things about the tower. Rumors that its fate wasn't so certain, that it was entirely possible it would be converted into something else.
Whether that was true or not, could she really risk it? This could literally be her only chance to train in the ghost-infested tower at night. The town was so small, so who would be the wiser? If there was nobody around, there was nobody to tell.
"Fine."
Beige nearly threw her hands up, both pleased and exasperated with herself. She'd do it, she'd just go in there and have her fun. But, just this time, she reminded herself. It wasn't a good idea to make a habit of trespassing, after all.
Before she had the chance to develop any second thoughts, Beige quickly slipped inside the tower. Well, the fact it wasn't locked was one good sign, right? It meant that they weren't necessarily trying to keep anybody out, which hopefully made this little excursion alright.
It was worth it, anyway. Whoo boy, was this tower creeeeepy. Not two minutes after she'd walked in the front door, and she was surrounded by rows upon rows of tombstones. Wow, just...Wow. Talk about dark!
"Sableye, come on out!"
Beige expertly picked out the odd little ghosts' pokeball, and with a flick of the wrist had released her. Though this was the kind of environment most of her pokemon could thrive in, the young woman believed her dual ghost and dark type would enjoy it the most.
"Sable!"
The ghost clapped her hands together, a mischievous twinkle in her gemstone eyes. Beige wasn't so sure that was a good thing, but it wasn't like there were a ton of people around to bother. Everything would be fine, she was sure. She hoped, at the very least, as the pokemon started to scale the tower-eagerly making her way toward Arceus knew what. Beige just chuckled at the sight, and slowly began to make her way to the upper levels.

"G-ghosts are weak to poison, right?"
Cooing, the Nidorina bumped against her trainer's side, trying to placate the young boy. Aster made a choked laugh, carefully stroking the Pokemon's head just the way Be-'Mom' had taught him a long time ago, when he'd first gotten her as a Nidoran. The scar on his eye twinged, and the 14 year old rubbed at it with his forearm, peering over his sleeve up to the foreboding looking tower.
It was certainly scary enough, but that didn't dissuade him. Not really, of course, no. He'd heard that the tower was a prime place to training, and he really needed it to stand up to Morty's ghosts back home, let alone the rest of the League. He'd need that experience if Aster was to become a gym leader like his mom - his new one, the one he really loved. If nothing else, it would get him used to battling ghost-types.
"Come on, Nida. Let's go give it a shot."
The boy swallowed nervously, running off to duck in the door before anyone else could notice - and stop -him. Hand on Weepinbell's ball as a precaution.

Now Reena was sure. She knew there were other presences in the tower and she hoped that they were not celestial. With her left hand Reena fixed the pontail her long white hair was in, and with the left pat Shockers.
They were almost there. Reena knew that she had "buried" her poor Misdreavus on the fifth floor. A memory flooded back to Reena causing her eyes to water.
~~~~ FLASH BACK TIME! (>=D)~~~~
"So I suppose this is the famous Lavender town. Nice!" Reena commented with amazement.
" Hmmm I suppose it's okay. If you like this quiet and eerie sort of thing." A strong looking Lucario mumbled telepathically.
"Ah hush." Reena grumbled pretending to slap the pokemon. She smiled as she pulled out a rusty pokéball. "I'm so happy we were able to get her back."
Ari, the lucario, glanced at his trainer and gave a small smile. "I take it you are referring to your Misdreavus, Spooky-chan?" The pokemon said with a smirk.
"Yes I most certainly do!" Reena commented sticking out her tongue.
~~~~END FLASHBACK~~~
"Of course that was too good to last." Reena mumbled. She patted the Pikachu on her shoulder and continued upward still shuttering at the thought of running into a ghost.

((lolol maybe the sableye can spook poor Reena, and Beige can be like O THERE'S A KID HUR with Aster. )) ----
Beige found herself hesitating a little, on the second floor- intrigued by the morbid decorations the tower had to offer. There were graves still, a depressing sight, though...some of them seemed..Different. Somehow. They didn't seem real, and it was hard to tell whether they were for sure or not. Text on some of the tombstones here had become worn and faded. What had done such a thing inside a tower, Beige couldn't say. Was the tower just really that old? Or were the gravestones, and this was a clue things had been moved with the tower was constructed?
The mystery of it all was appealing. Beige couldn't help but stop to admire the markers, and try in vain to figure it out. Creepy as this place was, she was comfortable here. In her element, she supposed. Good thing she hadn't run into any other people yet, or they might think she was some kind of freak because of all of this.
The young woman was so caught up in all of this, that she hadn't noticed her Sableye had never stopped. The little ghost was continuing on, scaling the floors at a rate only creatures like herself could accomplish. By the time Beige looked up, the ghost was already to the fourth floor- and quickly heading to the fifth. The young woman, of course, didn't mind it. She thought it was all harmless, and that Sableye could protect herself from trouble with other ghosts. She didn't realize that the ghost was feeling particularly impish this evening, and had sensed the presence of others that she wanted to play some silly little tricks on.
"What's this?"
Beige had started walking around the second floor again, but stopped as she noticed a row of peculiar symbols etched into the floor. She looked from side to side, but nothing was there that could explain this to her. What made it even stranger was that it...well, it looked like it was glowing. But that couldn't be right, it had to be some trick of the eye.
Still, it was interesting. Maybe she'd stick around this floor a little longer, in order to try and figure out what it was.
---
lol it's like that....pattern on the one floor (probably not the second), in the game. I think it heals you? i don't even remember .__.

"Niiido."
Pausing at the entrance of the floor as she noticed another person present, the Nidorina paused to growl briefly, before stopping in confusion. Aster didn't really know Beige - she was his 'mom's friend, and Ecruteak was a small city - but he knew of her. And, by that extent, so did his Nidorina.
"What's wrong, girl?"
Stroking the poison-type's head, Aster caught up to his Pokemon, panting slightly from climbing the number of stairs. They had run into a couple of Gastly, as well, and the boy was feeling pretty optimistic by how well they'd handled them. If they could keep this up, then they could challenge Morty in no time!
Looking from Nida to where the Pokemon was looking, Aster blinked. Why was Beige glowing? His first thought would have been to question himself on why the woman was there to begin with - at night, too - but Aster remembered that she had a liking for ghosts, based on seeing her at home, and on what Beryl had told him.
"H-hey! Hey, Beige!"
It was good to see a familiar face, but he was halfway cross the room before the boy considered that it might have been a trick played by the ghost Pokemon of the tower. His Nidorina didn't seem to be too bothered, though, and so Aster assumed that it was alright.

Reena, by now, had reached the fifth floor on which her beloved Misdreavus was "buried". She scanned the various rows of tombstones and finally spotted a decorative one with a picture of a happy Misdreavus on it.
"Hey Spooky-chan. We've come to visit." Reena said softly to the unhearing ears of her dead Misdreavus. Reena let out a small sad sigh, once more, and laid some beautiful Graceadia flowers on the grave.
"Well come on Shockers, we best get out of here before anything weird happens. After all we shouldn't stay here too long. If we do people might recognize us."
the little pikachu nodded her head and hopped off of Reena's shoulder. As the little pikachu plodded along, it noticed a tiny glint of light coming from over by the stair case. Naturally the little electric mouse was to curious to simply avoid leaving well enough alone. So with a fierce determination she started to walk over towards the stair case.
"Where do you think you are going? Shockers! COME BACK!" Reena commanded as she ran over towards her pikachu.
Shockers stopped momentarily to listen to her trainers commanded and smiled as her trainer finally stopped beside her.
"Pi-ka pi Pikachu!" Shockers said as she pointed to where she first saw the glint of light.

"Huh?" Beige lifted her head from the peculiar, glowing pattern- as she thought she heard somebody call her name. An excited chill brushed her spine, as she thought perhaps it was one of the ghosts in the tower coming out to play a few tricks on her- and was surprised by what she found instead. The young woman had to blink a few times, even rub her eyes, to make sure this wasn't some kind of trick.
"Aster?"
She wouldn't have believed it, if she wasn't seeing it with her own eyes. This was...that boy that her friend, Beryl, had adopted. She had only met him a few times, but he had made a solid first impression and he and Beryl were quite the family. What surprised her was that he was here, alone. Perhaps on a training journey?
Beige stood up and smiled, waving. "Hey! What brings you out all the way here?"
She leaned against one of the tombstones, listening to what he had to say, when she finally realized that Sableye was still missing. "Oh hey, sorry, hold that. I need to go find Sableye. How about we walk and talk? That is, unless you'd prefer solo training."
She really didn't know what he'd come here for- so she wasn't going to bother him if he wanted solitude in order to train his pokemon. She waited briefly though, for his answer, before starting toward the stairs.
"Sable!"
The glint had come from Sableye's gemstone eyes, and she cackled madly- clapping her hands together as the pikachu approached. AT first, she seemed like she was going to attack- or do something devious. However, she simply waved to the electric mouse, while floating in the air to get a better look at her.
"There you are!"
Beige huffed, finally catching up to her ghost. Her expression turned apologetic, as she saw another pokemon- and noticed another girl coming. Wow, the tower was busy tonight.
"I'm sorry if she bothered you! She's harmless, really."

As Shockers and Reena bent forward to investigate, the little Sableye appeared from the shadows and scared the Duo in to a tizzy. Reena fell backwards, landing harshly on her bum.
"Gaw!"
Her pikachu, Shockers on the other hand, ran and hid behind the new trainer which had come to to claim the Sableye.
As the trainer spoke to Reena, Reena glanced up to look at the tall brown haired trainer. She liked the way the trainer looked, and although Reena could tell that this trainer was tougher than nails, she could tell that this trainer was kind as well.
"It's....alright. Just scared me a bit." Reena groaned as she eased herself up. It wasn't until than that she remembered she'd come here in the night so no one would see her. Instinctivley she covered her face, realizing that she was only making her self suspicious.
"Uhm Well it was wonderful to meet you, but err I should probably go..." Reena finished as she ran over to grab her Pikachu. Shockers jumped in the arms of her trainer and soon was being taken down to the fourth floor. In the process of her hasty exit, Reena had left her bag behind, which had fallen when she fell over.
"Oh man Shockers! I didn't think anyone would come here at night. You don't think she got a good look at my face do you. Man I hope not." She kept running down the stairs, going faster than she probably should and almost ran into a small pokemon trainer that she hadn't seen before, walking around with his Nidorina.
(Perhaps we should have three Gengars trap the trainers inside the tower and they have to get out by working together? Or did you have a certain path you wished to take?)
