this site may seem a little confusing at first- particularly when it's finished.
Is it a role playing forum, or is a discussion forum? It's both, actually. Spectrum started out as a role playing forum, but it was decided that it would be better combined. That way, the site could still exist even if we were having trouble finding members.
Think of it as a pokemon discussion forum with a very large role playing center. There are areas for pokemon and other role playing outside of the 'SPECTRUM RP', where you can pretty much....do whatever.
The SPECTRUM RP section,(along with the OOC RP SECTION), however, operate similarly to role playing forums. You apply for characters, get approved, and after you are approved may begin role playing in the various regions. It is a free form role play in some respects, but there are still guidelines you must abide by. Those are explained in the 'SPECTRUM RP RULES' thread, so I suggest you mosey on off and read that.
